According to the Myrtle Beach Area Hospital Association, the following matters have been put in place regarding the COVID-19 crisis:
- Mayor Brenda Bethune extended the "declaration of emergency" which was originally set to expire this week
- This new order does not hold any more restrictions that are not already in place
- North Myrtle Beach City Council extended localized state of emergency
- The MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet has been opened and the goats have been returned to Goat Island
- House of Representatives launched a $3 trillion legislative package to help the economy get back on track
